Terms of sale

These are the terms you buy under. They cover everything you order on unboxian.com. They are written to be read.

Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you. Where anything below and the Consumer Rights Act 2022 disagree, the Act wins.

Who you are buying from

Unboxia Limited, 134 Rusheeney View, Rusheeney Village, Clonsilla, Dublin D15 YKA6, Ireland. Registered in Ireland, company number 822279. VAT number IE4770579AH, registered for Irish VAT since 27 July 2026.

Write to us at info@unboxian.com. That is the same address for questions, for cancelling an order and for complaints. There is no queue and no ticket number. Everything else about reaching us is on Contact.

Who we sell to, and where

We sell to consumers, and we deliver within the Republic of Ireland only. Neither of those is a preference we might quietly bend: an order going anywhere but Ireland cannot be created in our system, and neither can a customer marked as a business.

If you run a business and buy from us as a consumer, that is fine and we cannot stop it — we simply have no business checkout, so you buy on the same terms as everybody else. If you then need a VAT invoice, email us and we will issue one.

What we sell

Korean skincare and beauty, and a small number of toys — dolls and figures. We hold all of it ourselves in Dublin.

The photographs and descriptions come from the brands and their distributors. Packaging changes when a brand redesigns it, and that happens. If what arrives is not what the page described, that is our problem to fix, not yours to live with.

Prices

Every price on the site is in euro and includes Irish VAT at 23%. The price you see is the price you pay.

Delivery is not saved for the end. What it costs, and the order value at which it stops costing anything, is on Delivery & returns, and the exact amount for your basket is shown in the order summary before you press pay. Nothing is added after that.

How the contract is made

You pay when you order. We do not hold the card and charge it when the parcel goes out.

So the contract between us is made the moment your payment completes — not when we pick the order, and not when we get round to reading it. From that moment the goods are yours and the delivery is owed to you.

If it turns out we cannot supply what you ordered — the last unit was damaged, the stock count was wrong — we will tell you and refund you in full. We will not send you something else instead, and we will not sit on your money while we look for more.

Your confirmation

When the payment goes through you are sent back to a page showing the whole order: what you bought, what each line cost, the VAT in it, the delivery, and the address it is going to. The address of that page carries a private key, so only someone with the link can open it.

Keep the link. It goes on working, and it is your record of what was agreed.

Paying

Card only, taken by Stripe on Stripe’s own page. Your card number never touches unboxian.com. We do not see it and we have nowhere to keep it.

Any refund goes back the same way, to the card you paid with.

Delivery

We post through An Post, tracked. The charges, the timings and what happens with items that have not reached us yet are all on Delivery & returns.

Until you, or someone you have named, physically has the parcel, it is at our risk. If it is lost or damaged on the way, that is ours to sort out and you are not out of pocket.

Where we have not given you a date, the law allows us 30 days from the order at the very outside. We intend to be far quicker than that, and if we are not going to be, we will tell you rather than let you wonder.

Changing your mind

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you are cancelling, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to send the goods back.

The detail — what we refund, who pays the return postage, how to tell us — is set out on Delivery & returns, and that page is the one that governs. We are not going to write the same rules twice and end up with two versions of them.

An email saying you want to cancel is all it takes. If you would rather use the statutory form, or you want to stop an order we have not posted yet, both are on Cancelling an order.

Cosmetics you have opened

You can send back a cosmetic you have opened, and you still get your money back. Open it, try it, change your mind.

The law does allow a seller to refuse sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery, where the goods genuinely cannot go back for health and hygiene reasons. We do not rely on that. We have not checked the seals on what we sell, we have not warned you in advance that any particular product would lose the right, and refusing a refund that is actually owed is a criminal offence. So the answer is simply yes, we take it back.

If that ever changes for a particular product, it will say so on that product’s page before you buy it — never here, and never after the fact.

If something is wrong with what we sent

The Consumer Rights Act 2022 gives you rights we cannot sign away, and nothing on this page tries to. In short:

  • If a fault shows up within 30 days of delivery, you can end the sale and get your money back in full.
  • After 30 days you can ask for a repair or a replacement, and a refund where that does not work or the fault is serious enough.
  • For the first 12 months, a fault is presumed to have been there when the goods reached you. Proving otherwise is our job, not yours.

These rights have nothing to do with the 14 days for changing your mind, and they last a great deal longer — the CCPC puts the outside limit in Ireland at six years. Email us, say what happened and give the order number.

We offer no guarantee of our own on top of this. If a brand includes one with its product, it is theirs, and it is in addition to what the Act gives you — never a replacement for it.

What we ask you for

At the checkout: your name, your email address, your delivery address, and a phone number if you want to give one. Nothing else. You do not need an account to buy; if you want to see your orders later, you can sign in with your email and a one-time code we send you.

Six other companies handle a piece of the job. Stripe takes the payment, Supabase holds the order, Vercel runs the website, Resend sends the emails about your order, Hostinger runs our mailbox, and An Post gets your name and address so the parcel can find you. That is the entire list, and the privacy notice says what each of them sees.

The box asking whether we may email you about new arrivals is optional and starts unticked. Leaving it alone changes nothing about your order.

What is kept, for how long, and what you can make us do about it is set out in full on Privacy. That page governs; this one only says enough to explain the sale.

Complaints

Email info@unboxian.com with your order number and what went wrong. A person reads it and a person answers it.

We are not signed up to an alternative dispute resolution scheme, so we cannot honestly point you at one. If we cannot settle it between us, these are yours to use:

The law that applies

Irish law, and the Irish courts. We sell only in Ireland and you are buying in Ireland, so there is nothing exotic here to argue over.

Changes to these terms

We can change these terms, but only going forward. The version on the site at the moment you place an order is the version that covers that order.
