Product description
A retinol serum from Dr.Althea, 30ml in a square blue glass bottle with a pump. The bottle calls the texture watery and mild. It goes on after a toner and before a moisturiser. The brand's own usage guide asks for one or two pumps every other day through the first fortnight, then three or four pumps daily from week three, with a sunscreen during the daytime while you are using it. Alongside the retinol and bakuchiol sit panthenol, allantoin, birch sap and the six botanical extracts the brand groups as Blue Complex HR — chamomile, cornflower, borage, lavender, clary sage and hyacinth. Dr.Althea calls it suitable even for sensitive skin, and for skin prone to breakouts. Dr.Althea also sells a Pure Retinol 0.15% Cream; of the two strengths the brand prints as a percentage, this is the lower one.
